Sekula Sinadinovski

RTW Design Director at Sunrise Brands

Sekula Sinadinovski has extensive experience in the fashion industry, starting with their role as a Senior Designer at Elise Overland from April 2006 to August 2009. There, they partnered with and supported the Creative Director in launching the label, overseeing research, seasonal concepts, color palettes, and inspiration. Sekula was responsible for designing and sample making across all categories.

Following this, Sinadinovski worked as a Senior Designer for Calvin Klein Collection from August 2009 to November 2010. Sekula collaborated directly with Creative Director Francisco Costa, contributing to the runway collections by conducting research, creating seasonal concepts, and designing colors and silhouettes for the handwoven and outerwear categories. Sekula also developed draping and construction skills and translated concepts into sketches and garments.

From November 2010 to January 2017, Sinadinovski held various roles at BCBGMAXAZRIAGROUP. Sekula began as the Senior Designer for Wovens and Outerwear for BCBG and BCBG Runway, reporting to the Creative Director on all creative aspects, including seasonal concepts, colors, fabrics, and print selection. Sekula designed, developed, and executed the entire hardwoven and outerwear category, overseeing a team of designers, pattern makers, and sample makers. Later, they became the Design Director for BCBG and BCBG Runway, working in collaboration with the Creative Director on research, seasonal concepts, fabric developments, color palettes, and silhouettes. Sekula designed collections from sketch through development and execution, managing 12 deliveries a year with approximately 120 styles and 200 SKUs.

From January 2017 to March 2018, Sinadinovski worked as a Design Director at Anthropologie. In this role, they directly collaborated with the Creative Director, contributing to research, seasonal concepts, color palettes, and silhouettes. Sekula led fabric and embroidery developments and was responsible for designing the collection from sketch through development and execution.

Most recently, Sinadinovski joined Sunrise Brands in September 2019 as the RTW Design Director. Further details about this role are not provided.

Sekula Sinadinovski pursued their education in the field of Costume Design. From 1997 to 2003, they attended the Academy of Fine Arts and Design in Belgrade, Serbia, where they earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Fashion and Costume Design and Painting. Sekula also pursued minors in fashion design and painting during their time there. Seeking further education, Sekula then enrolled at Boston University from 2003 to 2006, where they completed a Master of Fine Arts (MFA) degree in Costume Design.
