Ellen Wieger

Ellen Wieger is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in various therapeutic roles. At Sunrise Children's Services from March 2016 to August 2021, Ellen provided therapy to children and families in multiple settings, completing assessments and managing treatment plans. Prior to this, Ellen served as a Mental Health Specialist at Cincinnati Children's Hospital Medical Center, managing therapeutic environments and leading Dialectical Behavior Therapy training. Experience also includes a Care Coordinator role at Kentucky Spirit Health Plan, where case management and discharge planning were central responsibilities, and multiple positions at Hope Center, Inc. focusing on intake assessments and case management for clients with mental health needs. Ellen holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Kentucky and a Bachelor of Science in Social Work from Asbury University.
