Tonya Adkins

Tonya Adkins currently serves as a Social Service Clinician with the Kentucky Department of Corrections, a position held since April 2024, while also functioning as a Foster Parent Trainer/Recruiter at Sunrise Children's Services since November 2019. Prior professional experience includes roles as a Mental Health Therapist, Crisis Consultant, Mental Health Associate, and Community Support Specialist at Mountain Comprehensive Care from August 2016 to November 2019. Tonya is pursuing a Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at Capella University, expected to be completed in May 2025, and previously earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Campbellsville University during 2019-2021, along with a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Eastern Kentucky University from 2015 to 2018. Tonya holds a high school diploma from Betsy Layne High School, awarded in 2005.
