Sunrise Community Health
Iralynn Carmona is currently a Medical Assistant in Training at Sunrise Community Health since July 2023. As Co-Founder and President of Born 2 Ride Non-Profit Organization since November 2019, Iralynn has developed a nonprofit that grants a $2,500 scholarship to a deserving high school senior, overseeing administrative tasks such as application creation and website design. Previous experience includes serving as an Elementary Educator at Shelby County Schools and as an Educator with Teach For America from June 2021 to May 2023. Iralynn also worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Colorado Boulder, providing support in processing blood samples, and held various mentorship and community engagement roles during academic studies, which culminated in dual Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and Spanish Language and Literature from the same institution. Other roles include Case Support Advocate at Blue Sky Bridge and Child Care Provider with self-employment activities.

Sunrise Community Health is a team of nearly 400 employees that provides affordable access to quality health care for all in northern Colorado. We began in 1973 as a migrant health clinic, and today we support the health of over 41,000 low-income individuals and families. With nine clinics in Greeley, Evans, and Loveland and one mobile unit, Sunrise offers comprehensive, quality, and affordable medical, dental, and behavioral health services, including on-site laboratory, radiology, pharmacy, and patient education services. Our vision is that healthy people create healthy communities, and all of us should be able to access the right care, at the right time, for the right cost.
