Craig Hicks

Craig Hicks has a diverse work experience in finance and audit. Craig started their career at EY as an Audit Manager, where they conducted financial statement audits and managed client relationships. Craig joined Spinrite in 2004 and held various roles, including Vice President Finance, Director of Finance, and Controller. During their time at Spinrite, they led the finance team, grew and developed the team, and was involved in due diligence processes for ownership changes and acquisitions. In 2023, they joined Sunrise Farms as the Vice President Finance, responsible for leading the finance team and providing financial expertise and support to all functional areas within the business.

Craig Hicks attended Wilfrid Laurier University and graduated in 1998 with an Honors Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree, with a co-op option. Craig'sfield of study was Accounting and Business/Management. In 2000, they obtained the certification of Chartered Professional Accountant from the Chartered Professional Accountants of Canada (CPA Canada). Craig has also obtained various certifications in areas such as cultural competence, inclusive conversations, unconscious bias, project management, coaching, leadership, and communication through LinkedIn, with the most recent certifications obtained in 2021 and 2020.
