Emily Pedersen

Emily Pedersen is a dedicated student at Iowa State University pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Genetics with minors in Spanish and psychology on the Pre-Medical track. Currently serving as Vice President of Selections for Cardinal Key National Honor Society and First Year Outreach Chair for the Iowa State University Honors Program, Emily actively contributes to campus communities through event planning and member selection processes. In addition, roles as Vice President of Events and Programming for Kappa Delta Sorority and Director of Outreach for the Students Helping Our Peers Food Pantry reflect strong leadership and community engagement. Emily’s experience as a Care Manager at Sunrise Senior Living and an Undergraduate Research Assistant further highlights a commitment to healthcare and research, complemented by a medical internship in Spain. Previous positions, including as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Merchandise Associate, round out a diverse skill set and dedication to service.
