Kathy Cherwin

Kathy Cherwin has extensive work experience in the field of human resources. Kathy started their career in 1990 at Marriott, where they held various roles including Director of Human Resources and Area Director of Human Resources. In 2003, they joined Sunrise Senior Living as the Regional Director of Human Resources and later progressed to the role of Senior Director Human Resources. Currently, Kathy holds the position of Vice President HR Operations at Sunrise Senior Living.

Kathy Cherwin received a Bachelor of Science degree in Liberal Arts and Sciences from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, where they attended from 1986 to 1990. In addition, they obtained certifications such as SHRM Executive Network Membership and Professional in Human Resources (PHR). Kathy is also a Certified Facilitator for Crucial Conversations and Fierce Conversations, accredited by VitalSmarts and Fierce, Inc., respectively.
