Amy Thompson has a diverse work experience spanning over two decades. Amy started their career in 1998 as a Chartered Accountant at Venthams Chartered Accountants & Business Advisers, where they completed their training contract and gained experience in accounts preparation, management accounts, and statutory audits. In 2004, they joined Creston Plc as an Interim Financial Accountant, where they conducted a corporate governance review and supported the year-end published accounts process. Amy then moved to KPMG as an Audit Manager, where they worked with clients in the Information, Communication & Entertainment sector, performing audits and managing teams. Amy also gained experience in due-diligence and worked on a secondment to a client to transform their internal financial control environment. In 2008, Amy became the Group Financial Controller at Nitro Group, overseeing the financial operations of the company. Amy later joined PublicisSapient in 2010 as a Senior Finance Manager, where they held various roles including EMEA Treasury Controller and EMEA Controller, managing foreign exchange risk, cash flow, and monthly reporting. In 2020, Amy joined Haynes Publishing Group Ltd as the Group Financial Controller. Currently, Amy is the Head of Financial Reporting at Sunseeker International Ltd.
Amy Thompson attended the University of Bradford from 1995 to 1998, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business & Management Studies.
