Following that, they worked at Don Shead Ltd. as a Design Draughtsman, Senior Designer, and eventually Head of Design, gaining experience in various projects including aluminum offshore boats and fast aluminum super yachts. Finally, they joined Sunseeker International Ltd. where they held positions such as Designer, Head of Design, Director of Design and Naval Architecture, and currently serves as their Chief Technical Officer, involved in multiple projects each year. Overall, Ewen Foster's work experience spans more than three decades and encompasses design, naval architecture, engineering, interior and exterior styling, and artwork in the marine industry.

Ewen Foster attended three different schools for their education history. From 1970 to 1972, they studied at Queen Elizabeth Grammar School in Hexham, Northumberland. In 1972, they transferred to Wintringham Grammar School in Grimsby, Lincolnshire, where they stayed until 1973.
