Joel Newmark has extensive work experience in various roles within the IT and management fields. Joel began their career as a Vice President and General Manager at Uniform Express, where they successfully managed projects and assembled teams to implement major initiatives. Following this role, Joel worked as a Network Administrator at Service Protection Direct, where they provided support for a call center and developed strategic IT roadmaps. Joel then worked as a System Administrator/Operations Analyst at NetEffects, overseeing desktop support and making recommendations to drive business growth. Most recently, Joel served as the Vice President of Information Technology at Sunset Transportation, where they managed IT operations and vendor relationships, and provided leadership with system improvement recommendations.
Joel Newmark obtained a Bachelor of Arts (BA) degree in Education and History from Saint Louis University, where they studied from 1986 to 1989. Joel also holds additional certifications from ICAgile and Microsoft Certifications, including being an ICAgile certified professional and holding certifications as a Microsoft Certified Desktop Support Technician (MCDST) and a Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP).
