Michael Buss

Michael Buss is an experienced educator and fitness instructor, currently serving as an Adjunct Professor at DePaul University since December 2020. Michael has a diverse background in teaching, having worked as a Social Studies and ELA Teacher for North Shore School District 112 since August 2014 and previously as a teacher for Chicago Public Schools from September 2006 to July 2014. Additionally, Michael has been a Group Fitness Instructor for the Park District of Highland Park since September 2014. Prior teaching experience includes instructing 7th grade religious school at Congregation Solel, emphasizing leadership and social justice from August 2018 to May 2020. Michael also owned and operated North Shore Brewing Supply from August 2013 to March 2016. Academic credentials include a Master's degree in History from Northeastern Illinois University and a Master's degree in Teaching from National Louis University, along with National Board Certification from Chicago State University and a Bachelor's degree in History from the University of St. Francis.
