David McIlwraith

David McIlwraith is an experienced professional with a diverse background in fire service and sales management. Currently serving as the FireSmart Coordinator for the Sunshine Coast Regional District since July 2023, David has also held a leadership role as Lieutenant and Fire Fighter at the Roberts Creek Volunteer Fire Department since January 2012. Prior to their fire service career, David worked at Russell Hendrix Foodservice Equipment as Director of Field Sales for Western Canada from April 2019 to March 2023, and spent nearly two decades at The Dudson Group in progressively senior roles, including Vice President of Sales Canada. David began building a foundation in foodservice at Oneida Ltd. as a Foodservice Specialist from 1994 to 1999, and earlier experience includes managing the clubhouse at Vancouver Golf Club from 1990 to 1994. Education includes studies at the Justice Institute of British Columbia.
