S.G. Moazam

Dr S. G. Moazam is a Senior Consultant Physician and Diabetologist in the Department of Internal Medicine at Sunshine Hospitals, Hyderabad. He has overall 15 years’ experience as a Consultant Internal Medicine and ER Head. He has been Clinical Head at Apollo Sugar Clinic (The Apollo Clinic for Diabetes) for 8 years and also worked as a Consultant Physician at Apollo Hospitals. From 2001 to 2002, he has the distinction of being the Consultant who contributed the most in terms of emergency services. During the same period, he was recognised as the Most Proactive Consultant of the Year. In the year 2008, Dr Moazam was the lead in designing, planning and implementing the Diabetic Program of the Apollo Hospitals’ Apollo Sugar Clinics, pioneering an effective chronic disease management program. He has also worked as visiting consultant physician, Lucent Technologies and authorized consultant physician, Emirates Airlines, Hyderabad.
