Luis Serrano

As President of Sunshine Retirement Living, Mr. Serrano is focused on corporate strategy and development, acquisitions, strategic partnerships and special projects. Mr. Serrano is also a co-founder and managing principal of Westbrook Management, which provides full-service real estate investment management and consulting.

Previously, Mr. Serrano served as Senior Vice-President Business and Corporate Development for Boingo Wireless. During his eight year tenure at Boingo, Mr. Serrano led the company’s effort to develop wholesale relationships with telecom operators worldwide, negotiating dozens of carrier agreements in every continent. He was also in charge of Boingo’s M&A strategy. Mr. Serrano was part of the team that took the company public in 2011 (NASDAQ WIFI).

Prior to Boingo, Mr. Serrano held a range of management consulting positions specializing in the telecommunications industry at international firms McKinsey & Company and J.P Morgan Chase. He began his career as an analyst consultant for the Spanish Telecom Regulatory Commission.

Mr. Serrano holds an M.S. in telecommunications engineering from Universidad Politecnica de Madrid, Spain, and an MBA from The Anderson School at UCLA.
