Joakim Isaksen has a range of work experience in different roles. In 2012, they started working at Viken fylkeskommune as a Lektor i matematikk og naturfag, and they held this position until February 2021. In 2021, they joined House of Math as a Content Manager and worked there until July 2022. Currently, they are employed at SunSpear Games as a Game Designer, starting in August 2022.
From 2007 to 2012, Joakim Isaksen pursued a Master's degree in Mathematics at the University of Oslo (UiO).
