John Beauchemin serves as the EMS Operations Coordinator at the University of South Florida, overseeing the Medical Response Unit since August 2023. In this role, John also coordinates a volunteer program at the Student Health and Wellness Center, facilitating opportunities for students to gain clinical experience. Since January 2015, John has held the position of Education Director at the University Emergency Medical Services Association, managing EMR and CPR courses and directing training for various emergency response teams. Additionally, John is a Paramedic with Sunstar Paramedics and an Instructor at the Emergency Care and Safety Institute, teaching EMR courses in partnership with the University Emergency Medical Services Association. Previous experience includes serving as an Assistant Field Operations Supervisor and Emergency Medical Technician at the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay from October 2013 to October 2016. John holds a Bachelor of Science in Health Services from the University of South Florida.
