Catherine Birr

Catherine Birr is an experienced executive currently serving as Vice President and Chief of Staff at Sunstates Security since August 2025. Prior to this role, Catherine held key positions at Farmer Mac, including Chief of Staff and Manager of Finance, from September 2017 to August 2025. Catherine's career also includes experience as an Analyst in the Securitization Department at Fannie Mae from June 2014 to September 2017 and as an Associate in Large Enterprise Business Development at CEB (now Gartner) from November 2013 to June 2014. Catherine holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Entrepreneurial, Innovation & Technology Management and Marketing Management from Virginia Tech, as well as further educational credentials from Saïd Business School, University of Oxford.
