Elise Brown

Graduate Counseling Intern at Sunstone Counseling

Elise Brown is a dedicated mental health professional with extensive experience in counseling and patient care. Currently serving as a Graduate Counseling Intern at Sunstone Counseling since August 2018, and as a Mental Health Technician at MedStar Washington Hospital Center from January 2018, Elise provides invaluable support in maintaining medical records, monitoring patient safety, and contributing to the interdisciplinary team through effective communication skills. Additional roles include serving as a Graduate Assistant in the Department of Counseling at Marymount University and participating in a summer internship with Takeda Pharmaceuticals in Clinical Pharmacology. Previous experience also includes an internship as a Psychometrician at Cornerstone Health Care, where Elise gained insights into neuropsychological evaluations. Elise holds a Master's degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Marymount University and a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from High Point University.
