Ema Simpson is an experienced professional in counseling and research, currently serving as a Resident in Counseling at Sunstone Counseling since July 2023, having previously completed a Graduate Counseling Intern role at the same organization. Ema holds a master's degree from William & Mary, where academic studies were complemented by significant practical experiences, including a Research Associate position at Hanover Research, where analysis of student and labor demand informed higher education decision-making. Earlier roles included internships in various capacities, such as assisting at the Virginia General Assembly and working with The Jefferson Center, all contributing to a strong foundation in effective communication, event coordination, and data management. Ema's career began with a bachelor's degree in History and Government from William & Mary, culminating in a diverse skill set suitable for both counseling and research environments.
