Katherine Schneider is a skilled counseling professional with extensive experience in school counseling and mentorship. Currently serving as a Resident in Counseling at Sunstone Counseling since February 2022, Katherine previously worked as a School Counselor at Fairfax County Public Schools from June 2016 to September 2021, where responsibilities included developing comprehensive counseling programs, providing individual and group counseling, and coordinating various educational initiatives. Katherine's athletic coaching experience includes leading both the Varsity Field Hockey program at Fairfax County Public Schools, achieving multiple championships and accolades, and serving as Head Coach at Albemarle High School. Katherine holds a Master of Education in Counselor Education from the University of Virginia and a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the same institution.
