Vanessa Cheshier is a seasoned mental health professional with extensive experience in various counseling roles. Currently serving as a Senior Therapist at Sunstone Counseling since July 2021, Vanessa previously worked as a Behavioral Health Specialist for Fairfax County Government beginning in October 2016. Additional experience includes positions as a Therapist at The Women's Center, Substance Abuse Counselor for the City of Alexandria, Mental Health Counselor at Pathway Homes, and Residential Counselor at Copper Hills Youth Center. Vanessa holds a Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Guilford College.
