Michael Harvey

Michael Harvey is the Vice President of Asset Management at Sunstone Hotel Investors. Michael has over 16 years of experience in the hospitality industry and has been with Sunstone Hotel Investors for over 12 years. In their current role, they are responsible for asset positioning, strategic planning, operating budgets, revenue management strategies, service level offerings, staffing, capital investments, ROI analysis and implementation, renovations, tenant leasing, and management agreement review and negotiation for a portfolio of upper upscale full service hotels. Michael has also led company-wide initiatives and roll-outs on technology and multimedia platforms, bench-marking, KPI's, and growing customer and employee satisfaction. Prior to joining Sunstone Hotel Investors, they held various positions in the hospitality industry including Director of Revenue Management and Assistant General Manager. Michael Harvey holds a Bachelor’s degree in Hospitality Management from Penn State University.

Michael Harvey (BA, Strategic Management) is a graduate of Cal State Fullerton's College of Business and Economics.

They work with Cormac O’modhrain - Group Vice President – Asset Management, Olivier Kolpin - Vice President – Tax, and Denise Hertle - Vice President - Corporate Accounting. Michael Harvey reports to John V. Arabia , President & CEO.
