Shibu R K began their work experience in 2003 at NIIT, where they served as a Technical Consultant and Coordinator until 2005. Shibu then joined SunTec Business Solutions in 2005 and held various roles, including Junior Trainer, Trainer, Senior Trainer, Manager, Senior Manager, Practice Lead, and Group Manager & Lead in the Knowledge Management and Competency Development departments. In July 2022, they became the General Manager - Head of Knowledge Management and Talent Development at SunTec Business Solutions.

Shibu R K completed a Bachelor's degree in Economics from Kerala University, Thiruvananthapuram from 1999 to 2001. Following this, from 2001 to 2003, Shibu pursued a Postgraduate degree in Computer Application from the Electronic Research and Development Centre. In 2019 to 2020, Shibu attended the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta and obtained a degree in Leadership & Management (EPLM). In addition to these educational qualifications, Shibu has obtained various certifications such as "Apache NiFi - A Complete Guide | Cloudera DataFlow | HDF/CDF" from Udemy, "Understanding Confluence for users, managers, and admins" from Udemy, "Enterprise Design Thinking Practitioner" from IBM, and "ExO Foundations" from OpenExO.
