Garry Merrill

Garry Merrill has a strong background in data and analytics, with experience in various roles and industries. Garry is currently the Director of Data and Analytics at Suntex Marinas, where they developed data strategies and deployed a new Data and Analytics platform. Prior to that, they were a Customer Success Manager at Alation. Garry also served as a National Engagement Manager at ThoughtSpot, where they were responsible for leadership, development, and delivery of their products. Garry has also worked as a Senior Manager at EY, Director of Business Intelligence at Copart, and in various roles at Avanade/Accenture, CROSSMARK, PwC, and Bearing Point (KPMG Consulting). Throughout their career, Garry has demonstrated expertise in project management, team leadership, and delivering innovative data solutions.

Garry Merrill holds a Bachelor's degree with Honors in Business Studies from the University of Northumbria at Newcastle, where they specialized in Business, Management, Marketing, and Related Support Services. In addition, they have obtained certifications such as Scrum Fundamentals Certified (Agile) from SCRUMstudy - Accreditation Body for Scrum and Agile in 2018, and PMP from the Project Management Institute in 2017.
