Shekhar Mundlay

Shekhar Mundlay is the current Director and Executive Vice President at Suntory. Shekhar has also held the position of Group CEO at Suntory Beverages and Foods Asia Ltd from January 2016 to January 2022. Prior to that, they were the CEO and General Director at Suntory PepsiCo Vietnam Beverages from April 2014 to December 2015.

Mundlay began their career at PepsiCo in 1991 as a General Manager. Shekhar then became the Regional Sales Manager at Marico in 1986. In 2006, they became the COO & General Director at PepsiCo International Vietnam and held that position until 2014.

Mundlay has been instrumental in the growth of Suntory's business in Asia. Under their leadership, Suntory has seen significant growth in their market share and profitability. Shekhar is a highly respected business leader in the region and is known for their strategic vision and execution.

Shekhar Mundlay completed an MBA at Symbiosis Institute of Management Studies, a Bachelor's degree at Fergusson College, and a Bachelor's degree in Political Science and Government at Fergusson College.

Their manager is Yuji Yamazaki, Senior Managing Executive Officer & Division COO, Corporate Management Division. They work with Peter Harding - Director, Member of the Board, Chief Executive Officer, Kazushi Ishikawa - Managing Executive Officer, and Derek Hill - CEO, Pepsi Bottling Ventures.
