Brinton Payne

Brinton Payne is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in government relations and public affairs. Currently serving as a Senior Advisor at Sunwest Communications since 2022, Brinton also founded and operates Legintel, LLC and Legislative Intelligence, LLC, both established in November 2011, providing clients with governmental relations, strategic communications, and business development services. Prior experience includes the role of Vice President of Government and Urban Affairs at the FW Chamber from September 2006 to December 2011, where strategic alliances were developed to advance public policy goals, and working as a representative for Senator Jane Nelson within Tarrant and Denton Counties from September 2003 to September 2006. Brinton holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Marketing from Westminster College (MO), completed between 1992 and 1996.
