Chaya Gitelson

Chaya Gitelson is an experienced professional currently serving as a Claims Generalist Associate at Progressive Insurance since August 2024, following a role as a Claims Generalist Trainee. Concurrently, Chaya has been engaged as a Peer Career Advisor and Research Assistant at the University at Albany, SUNY, since February 2021, where responsibilities included facilitating participant communication and leading research studies. Prior experience includes a Health & Benefits Internship at Aon, summer camp counseling at Park Slope Day Camp and Congregation Beth Elohim, babysitting, and a volunteer role at Hebrew Union College. Chaya holds a B.A. in Psychology and a B.S. in Economics from the University at Albany, graduating in 2024.
