Damira Pon has extensive experience in the field of information security and digital forensics, currently serving as Secretary on the Board of Directors for both the ISACA® Hudson Valley Chapter and the Northeast Collegiate Cyber Defense League. Since January 2015, Damira has held multiple roles at the University at Albany, SUNY, including Academic Coordinator and Director of Student Services for the Digital Forensics Program, as well as Faculty for both the Digital Forensics Program and the Fundamentals of Information and Cyber Security course. Prior experience includes a position as Senior Research Analyst at the NYS Center for Information Forensics and Assurance and freelancing as a consultant for Omniseer, Inc., where a comprehensive security analysis for federal government agency laptops was conducted. Damira holds a Master of Science in Information Science and Policy and a Bachelor of Arts in Information Science and Policy, both from the University at Albany.
