Jay Deitchman

Jay Deitchman, Ph.D., serves as the UNESCO-UNEVOC Centre Coordinator and Director of Global Initiatives at Hudson Valley Community College, a position held since January 2003. With extensive experience in international education, responsibilities include managing SEVIS records, issuing Form I-20s, and developing resources for international students. Additional roles include Adjunct Instructor in the Educational Administration and Policy Studies Department at the University at Albany and Principal Consultant at International Education Consulting since 2006. Dr. Deitchman’s past positions include Enrollment Counselor/International Student Advisor at Delhi College. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. in Educational Administration and Policy Studies from the State University of New York at Albany, as well as a Master's in Education and a Bachelor's in Psychology from SUNY Oneonta.
