Sam Shipherd

Sam Shipherd currently serves as the Associate Director of Corporate and Foundation Relations at the University at Albany, a position held since October 2025. Prior to this role, Sam Shipherd worked at Unity House of Troy from 2011 to September 2025, initially as a Development Associate and then as a Marketing and Communications Coordinator, focusing on direct mail appeals and creating marketing materials for a non-profit organization. Earlier experience includes serving as Assistant Vice President at Lloyds TSB International Private Banking from 1994 to 2002, where services were provided to high net worth individuals, particularly non-resident aliens from Latin America. Sam Shipherd earned a Bachelor's Degree in Latin American Studies from Rutgers University from 1990 to 1993, having previously attended Rowan University from 1987 to 1990.
