Trudi Jacobson

Trudi Jacobson is an accomplished academic with a significant focus on information literacy, currently serving as an Extraordinary Professor at North-West University since 2021. With a long-standing affiliation with the University at Albany, SUNY, starting in April 1990, Trudi holds the title of Distinguished Librarian Emerita and previously led the Information Literacy Department, supervising a team that teaches information literacy courses and develops digital learning resources. Additionally, from May 2015 to March 2022, Trudi was the Series Editor for "Innovations in Information Literacy" with Rowman and Littlefield, promoting innovative practices in the field. Trudi's earlier experience includes serving as the Reference Services Coordinator at Dawson Library, Siena College, from 1987 to 1990. Trudi earned a Master of Arts in Liberal Studies and a Master of Library Science from the University at Albany between 1979 and 1984.
