Zachariah Newswanger

Zachariah Newswanger currently serves as the Associate Vice President for Facilities Management at the University at Albany, SUNY, a position held since January 2023. Prior to this role, Zachariah held the title of Associate Vice President for Facilities Management and Director of Facilities Operations and Services at the State University of New York College at Cortland from July 2014 to January 2023. Earlier experience includes serving as the Director of Facilities Maintenance and Assistant Director for Operations at Ithaca College from November 2005 to July 2014. Zachariah Newswanger earned a Master of Science in Vocational Rehabilitation Counseling from the University of Scranton and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Lycoming College.
