SUNY at Albany
Zachary Desjardins, M.S., MPA, currently serves as the Vice Chair of the Board of Directors for Black Girl On Campus, Inc. since January 2025, focusing on governance and organizational growth. At the University at Albany, SUNY, Zachary has been a First Year Experience Part-Time Adjunct Instructor since June 2020, teaching leadership courses for first-year and first-generation college students. In addition, Zachary functions as a University Academic Advisor, monitoring the academic progress of approximately 300 first-year students and co-creating supportive programs for underrepresented groups. Previous experience includes roles at Corning Community College as an Educational Planner, and various positions at Binghamton University, including Assistant Residential Coordinator and Summer College Program Coordinator, as well as involvement in the TRIO Upward Bound Program. Zachary holds a Master's degree in Public Administration and a Master's degree in Student Affairs Administration from Binghamton University, along with a Bachelor's degree in Social Work from SUNY Plattsburgh.
