Jay Pecora

Jay Pecora's work experience includes being an Associate Professor at SUNY Potsdam since August 2005. Prior to that, they worked as an Adjunct Instructor at New York University from September 1999 to May 2005. Jay also served as a High School Teacher at Satellite Academy from September 1994 to January 2004.

Jay Pecora began their education at The Theatre School DePaul University, where they obtained a Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA) degree in Acting from 1985 to 1989. Following this, they attended Hunter College from 1993 to 1994, earning a Teaching Credential in Social Studies. Jay then pursued their graduate studies at Graduate School CUNY from 1995 to 1997, receiving a Master of Arts (MA) degree in Liberal Studies with a focus on Urban Education. Lastly, they attended New York University from 1998 to 2005, where they completed their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) degree in Theatre Education.
