Kathleen Miller

Associate Professor Of Voice at SUNY Potsdam

Kathleen Miller has had a diverse range of work experiences throughout their career. Kathleen began working as a voice teacher at the Riverside Academy of Music from January 1993 to July 2001. During this time, they also served as a lecturer in voice at Baldwin-Wallace College from September 1993 to June 2000. In 1994, they worked as a voice teacher at Cuyahoga Community College from August 1994 to June 1995. Additionally, they pursued their education at the University of Cincinnati College Conservatory of Music from 1988 to 2001, where they were a student. In 2001, Kathleen became an Associate Professor of Voice at SUNY Potsdam and a member and treasurer of the Central New York Fingerlakes Chapter of the National Association of Teachers of Singing. Lastly, they were a member of the St. Lawrence Arts Council from 2001 to 2015.

Kathleen Miller pursued their education in the field of music, specializing in voice performance. Kathleen attended Baldwin Wallace University from 1984 to 1988, where they obtained their Bachelor of Music degree. Following this, they continued their academic journey at the University of Cincinnati for an extended period from 1988 to 2008. Here, they attained a Doctor of Musical Arts degree with a focus on Voice Performance/Russian.
