Christian Richard is a biomedical scientist currently employed at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine since January 2023. Christian has extensive experience in neurotechnology and scientific software development, having previously worked as a neurotechnology research scientist at Advanced Brain Monitoring, where groundbreaking research into a field-deployable sobriety device was led. With a strong foundation in algorithm development and bioinformatics as a bioinformatics programmer at UCSF, Christian developed a phenotyping algorithm during doctoral studies at The Jackson Laboratory, contributing significantly to the field of neuroscience.
