Gina Gioia

Gina Gioia is currently a medical student at SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University, pursuing a Doctor of Medicine degree. Prior experience includes roles as a Volunteer at St. Francis House, an Emergency Medical Technician at Fallon Ambulance Service, and a Physical Therapy Aide at South Island Orthopedics. Gina also gained valuable experience as a Student Volunteer in the Medical Career Exploration Program at Brigham and Women's Hospital and as a Research Assistant at Omega Therapeutics and the Mitrogabi Lab at Harvard University, specializing in chemical conjugations and drug therapy research. Earlier work includes a position as a Hostess at Oakland's Marina and Restaurant. Gina holds a Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from Northeastern University.
