Lisa Dresner

Lisa Dresner is an experienced medical professional currently serving as the Designated Institutional Official, Vice Chair of Education, and Program Director at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine since April 2010. Additionally, Lisa holds the position of Associate Professor and serves as the Program Director for the Surgical Residency Program at Downstate Health Sciences University, which Lisa has been affiliated with since 2000. Previous roles include a fellowship in surgical critical care at Jackson Memorial Hospital and residency in General Surgery at Kings County Hospital Center. Lisa earned an MD from the State University of New York Downstate Health Sciences University and a BS in Biology from Cornell University.
