Maame Hayfron

Maame Hayfron, MD, currently serves as a Pediatric Emergency Medicine fellow at SUNY Downstate College of Medicine following a residency at SUNY Downstate Medical Center from July 2020 to June 2023. Previous experience includes volunteer work with Brooklyn Tabernacle Kids Ministry, where planning and supervising activities for toddlers occurred, as well as various roles in the Student National Medical Association and as a Resident Assistant at the State University of New York at Oswego, where educational outreach and crisis management were key responsibilities. Maame Hayfron's early career included roles such as a choreographer, expeditor at Pastis Restaurant, and a student researcher at Universidad De Iberoamérica, coupled with an internship at Oswego Hospital assisting with patient treatment. Educational achievements include a Doctor of Medicine from SUNY Downstate Health Sciences University and a Bachelor of Science in Biology from the State University of New York at Oswego.
