Chris Keegan, Ph.D., serves as an Associate Professor of Philosophy and an Affiliate Professor of Africana and Latinx Studies at SUNY Oneonta since August 2006, with expertise in urban philosophy, democracy and race, and the philosophy of protest. Previous positions include Chair of the Philosophy Department at SUNY Oneonta, where departmental operations were managed, and a Scholar-in-Residence at the Historic Santa Fe Foundation, focusing on identity philosophy in New Mexico. Chris Keegan has also taught at various high schools and community colleges, covering subjects such as English and Ethics. Academically, Chris Keegan holds a Ph.D. in Philosophy from the University at Buffalo and an Advanced Certificate in Education Administration and Leadership focused on Urban Education from The George Washington University.
