Gene Levine

Gene Levine has a diverse and extensive work experience in the insurance industry. Gene most recently served as the Chief Underwriting Officer at Vensure Employer Services starting in 2018. Prior to that, they held the position of Senior Vice President of Underwriting at SUNZ Insurance Company from 2017.

From 2013, Gene served as the Vice President of Underwriting at W. R. Berkley Corporation- Riverport Insurance Co. Before that, they held various roles at Liberty Mutual Group, including Vice President of Underwriting from 2010 to 2012 and Regional Underwriting Manager from 2005 to 2010.

Earlier in their career, Gene worked as the Director of Underwriting at CNA Insurance from 2002 to 2005, and as the Director of Middle Market Underwriting at GE Capital Coregis Group from 1998 to 2002. Gene also held multiple positions at Coregis Insurance Group, including Manager of New Product Development/Distribution from 1996 to 1998, Manager of Professional Liability/Employment Practices Liability from 1994 to 1996, and VP of Finance/Corporate Controller at Coregis Insurance from 1992 to 1994.

Gene's previous experience includes roles at Crum & Forster as Manager of Financial Analysis from 1990 to 1992, Manager of Corporate Planning from 1989 to 1990, and Supervisor of Financial Analysis from 1987 to 1989. Gene started their career at Panasonic as an Accounting Supervisor/Accountant from 1985 to 1987.

Gene Levine attended Rider University from 1977 to 1981, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting. Later, from 1984 to 1988, Gene pursued an MBA in International Business at Fairleigh Dickinson University.
