Johannes Vierula serves as a Senior Project Manager for Peacebuilding at Felm (Suomen Lähetysseura) since January 2017, overseeing peace initiatives in Myanmar aimed at fostering dialogue and aiding stakeholders in addressing a prolonged civil conflict. Prior experience includes a role as Project Manager for peace projects at Felm focused on strengthening peace processes and providing technical support during transitions. Johannes also completed a trainee position at the Ministry for Foreign Affairs of Finland in late 2013, analyzing political and economic dynamics in Thailand and Myanmar. Earlier in their career, Johannes worked as a Coordinator for Component Supply at Cargotec, managing logistics and financial transactions. Academically, Johannes holds a Master's degree in Economics and Business Administration with a focus on Business Law and Public Law from the University of Vaasa, along with short courses in Peace Studies and Conflict Resolution from the University of Basel.
