Heikki Peltomaa

Heikki Peltomaa is an experienced professional in the renewable energy sector, currently serving as Managing Director of wpd Suomi Oy since October 2015 and also holding board membership at wpd Construction Finland Oy. In addition, Peltomaa has been the Chairman of the Board and Chairman of the Offshore Wind Committee at the Finnish Wind Power Association since May 2017. Previous roles include Chairman of the advisory committee at Fingrid Oyj, Business Development Director at Eltel Networks, and various positions at Wärtsilä and winwind focused on sales and project management in the wind power and marine sectors. Peltomaa's career began with project management roles at Pöyry and Elematic Oy, and foundational engineering experience at Wärtsilä. Peltomaa holds a B.Sc. in Energy Engineering from Kymenlaakson Ammattikorkeakoulu, earned between 1993 and 1997.
