Kenolisa Onwueme

Kenolisa (Keno) Onwueme, MD, PhD, is the Director of clinical trials Woodholme Gastroenterology and the Gastroenterology Division Chairman at University of Maryland Baltimore Washington Medical Center (UMBWMC). His medical training was at Cornell where he also obtained a PhD in microbiology. He completed advanced training in gastroenterology at Johns Hopkins and has an ardent interest in the role of microbial metabolites in gut diseases. Dr. Onwueme is the past Vice-President of the Medical Staff at UMBWMC.
