Principal Software Engineer / Architect at Super Hi-Fi

Justin Weiler has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 1994, they worked as a Software Developer and Independent Contractor for DBA Justin Weiler & 9-Yards Computing, where they handled various front-end and server-side development projects.

In 2002, Justin joined Northrop Grumman - California Microwave as a Senior Software Engineer. Justin then moved on to Experian - Lower My Bills in 2003, where they served as a Senior .NET Engineer and led the development of internal tools using C# and WinForms.

From 2007 to 2011, Justin worked at Wilshire Axon as a Principal Software Engineer/Architect, leading C# development for their flagship streaming media product. Justin then joined FatCloud in 2011 as a Principal Software Architect/Chief Technology Officer.

In 2014, Justin had multiple roles. Justin worked as a Senior Software Engineer at Viewpost, contributing to the scaling and performance optimizations of their B2B payments platform. Justin also worked as an Independent Contractor for We See Dragons during this time.

Justin's next role was at AudienceScience in 2015, where they served as a Technical Program Manager and managed the software development lifecycle for the backend services team. Here, they also created network latency monitoring and analytics tools using Nodejs.

In 2016, Justin joined InDemand Interpreting as a Director of Software Engineering. Justin guided product improvements and bug fixes for their video interpreting legacy products and directed the development of the next-generation video interpreting services.

Currently, Justin is employed at Super Hi-Fi as a Principal Software Engineer/Architect. Their responsibilities include designing and building music experiences for millions of listeners worldwide, using NodeJs, Python, and AWS. Justin also focuses on conquering complexity challenges, implementing best practices, and designing robust low-latency services.

Justin Weiler attended California State University, Northridge from 1991 to 1994, where they earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science.
