Velvet Twist's work experience includes holding the position of Vice President of Accounting and HR at Super Systems Inc (SSI) since February 2022. Prior to that, they worked as a Business Manager at SSI from August 2014 to January 2022. Before joining SSI, Velvet Twist worked as an Accounts Payable Coordinator at Storage Post from September 2012 to September 2014.

Velvet Twist's education history includes multiple degrees and fields of study. In 1994, they attended Corning Community College and obtained an Associate of Applied Science degree in Human Services, specializing in the field of Human Services. They graduated in 1996. In 2010, Velvet returned to Corning Community College and pursued another Associate of Applied Science degree. This time, they focused on Accounting, completing the program in 2012. In the same year, 2012, they also acquired an Associate of Applied Science degree in Business with a concentration in the field of Business Career from Corning Community College.
