Kwanza Jones has held a variety of roles in their professional career. In 2017, they became the CEO of SUPERCHARGED by Kwanza Jones, a self-improvement source. In 2014, they co-founded the Kwanza Jones & José E. Feliciano Initiative, a high-impact philanthropic grantmaking and investment organization. In 2021, they joined the Board of Directors of the Apollo Theater and the TITLE Boxing Club. In 2020, they became a Member of the Board of Advisors at the Ronald Reagan Medical Center of UCLA Health. In 2018, they joined the Board of Directors of BoxUnion. In 2017, they became a Member of the Board of Advisors at Make in LA. From 2005, they were a Recording/Performing Artist and CEO and Founder of IEG Media (formerly Innovation Entertainment). In 2019, they became the Chair of the Board of Trustees at Bennett College and a Member of the Board of Directors at Susan G. Komen.

Kwanza Jones ♛ holds a Bachelor of Arts (A.B.) from Princeton University, a Juris Doctor (JD) from Cardozo School of Law, and a Master of Dispute Resolution (MDR) from Pepperdine Law's Straus Institute for Dispute Resolution. Additionally, Kwanza Jones ♛ is certified as an AFAA Group Fitness Instructor by the Athletics and Fitness Association of America - AFAA and holds a CPR/AED certification from the American Red Cross.
