Austin Walters

Austin Walters is a seasoned entrepreneur and investor with extensive experience in the healthcare and technology sectors. As the Founder and Managing Partner at SpringTide Ventures since January 2018, Austin focuses on venture capital investments in innovative healthcare companies. In October 2019, Austin co-founded Edilytics and serves as Chief Revenue Officer, providing precision analytics for genome editing and licensing CRISPResso software to a significant portion of the gene therapy market. Previously, Austin held the role of Commercial Director at EchoNous Inc., where $100 million in Series Seed financing was raised, and served as East Representative and Investor at Kenect, which acquired Friendemic in 2022. Earlier in the career, Austin worked as an Analyst at Innosight, contributing to disruptive innovation strategies for major clients, and conducted research at both Harvard Law School and Brigham Young University, focusing on corporate governance and international relations, respectively. Austin holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and a BA in International Relations with a concentration in Russian from Brigham Young University.
