Clara recently graduated from Brown University with dual degrees in English and Applied Math. While teaching at an outdoors-based semester school in fall 2020, she encountered the challenges of students’ unmet social and emotional learning needs and became curious about how the strengths-based approach of outdoor education might be applied in a more traditional classroom setting. As the older sibling of someone with dyslexia, she cares deeply about supporting learners’ literacy journeys and is excited to apply her background in film production and experiential education in support of expanding SuperDville’s content and impact.
