Superfine Art Fair

Founded in 2015 by entrepreneurs + art collectors James Miille and Alex Mitow, Superfine is a multi-channel marketing platform for independent visual artists. Rooted in the belief that visual art should be affordable and accessible to everyone, Superfine acts as both a figurehead for independent artists bent on improving their business practices and a conduit between those artists and an excited audience of buyers. As market leader in the affordable, artist-driven art fair space, Superfine has hosted a dozen fairs attended by thousands of enthusiastic art collectors in six cities around the United States and is growing by 1-2 cities per year. The company also provides an E-Commerce platform for its artists with plans for major global expansion in 2021. The fair's founders host a bi-weekly business podcast for artists and arts professionals. Aptly titled "The Artist Business Plan", it streams through Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and through the Superfine website. Reaching thousands of listeners across the globe each week, the episodes feature art world notables and celebrated artists talking business tactics with the fair founders. The fair is currently hosted annually in NYC, LA, San Francisco, Seattle, and Washington DC. Expansion plans include more US fairs in cities like Chicago, St Petersburg, Denver, Boston, Philadelphia, and San Diego, along with international fairs in London, Tokyo, Shanghai, and Sydney. Digitally, the fair's E-Commerce will expand to reach millions and become a market leader in affordable art online.
